Our Development department is responsible for developing new pharmaceutical products based on polymer technologies. This includes creating new formulations and designing drug products that can be safely and effectively administered to patients. Our work continues through the development phase until a robust manufacturing process is ready to be transferred to full-scale commercial production.

Developing new pharmaceutical products requires many different areas of expertise. The department includes polymer specialists, product developers, technicians, and operators, all working closely with colleagues across QPharma. Much of the work is project-based, and many projects involve unique processes and specialized equipment.
